What type of water should I use with the Fresh Press?Updated 22 days ago

All of our Fresh Presses are specially designed to work with the varying levels of water hardness that can vary from State to State. However, to maximise the subtle balance of flavours of our Lagers, try using filtered spring water rather than tap water.

For our darker beers such as Stouts and Brown Ales, hard water is best as it is naturally high in calcium bicarbonate.

For all brews, please add water to the fill line (where the white part of the inner bottle meets the black part), then add your Fresh Press and yeast.
