How long will my Fresh Press last? Can I use it past its Best Before Date?Updated 23 days ago

Our Fresh Presses contain a high sugar content, which means they can last for quite a while. The Brewing Yeast should have a long best before date, however this may not be viable after the individual best before date printed on the yeast sachet, meaning it may not activate and brew as expected.

We wouldn't recommend brewing a Fresh Press that’s more than 3 months past its Best Before Date. Beyond this, the flavour and quality of your brew may not be up to the usual standard.

The good news is that as long as the yeast is still within date, it should work perfectly. Just be sure to check the date on the yeast sachet before brewing.

Not to worry, though: if you find yourself in this situation, you can purchase a replacement Brewing Yeast from the website here - just make sure you check which Yeast you need under the tab 'New Fresh Press packaging' here.

If you've just received a Pinter Pack that expires soon, please take a look at this article.
